Company

Company knowledge, finally answerable.

Knowledge Wizards started in 2026 with one idea: a company should be able to ask its own knowledge and verify every answer, without documents ever leaving its control.

Why we exist

Companies drown in their own knowledge.

The answers people need already exist, scattered across drives, wikis, tickets, and chat threads. Teams re-ask questions that were settled months ago. Generic AI chat does not close the gap: it cannot see inside your company, and when it does answer you have no way to check whether it is right. We built KnowWiz so teams can ask their own knowledge in plain language, see the documents behind every answer, and keep every one of those documents inside the infrastructure they control.

  • Scattered knowledge, one place to ask
  • Every answer cites the documents behind it
  • Your documents never leave your control

What we believe

Four principles we build on.

Self-hosted first

KnowWiz runs in your VPC, your data center, or fully air-gapped. The index, the models, and the pipeline all stay inside the environment you control.

Permission-aware

Retrieval respects the permissions of the underlying sources. People only get answers from documents they can already open, so search never becomes a new way to overshare.

Cited answers

Every answer links back to the documents it came from. A claim is one click from its evidence, so teams can verify instead of trust blindly.

Your models, your rules

Run Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini, or keep everything local with Ollama and vLLM. Swap providers without rebuilding your knowledge layer.

Our story

Principle-driven, from day one.

KnowWiz is early. Rather than a history we have not lived yet, here is what the company is built to stand for.

  1. 2026

    Founded

Knowledge Wizards was founded to make company knowledge answerable, with a self-hosted-first, cited, permission-aware philosophy.

  2. Principle

    Self-hosted

Your knowledge is answered where you deploy it. Documents never leave the infrastructure you run.

  3. Principle

    Cited answers

Every answer shows its sources, so people can check the evidence for themselves instead of taking it on faith.

  4. Principle

    Permission-aware

Answers follow the access rules already set on your sources. Nothing new to overshare, nothing hidden that a person could already read.

See it on your own docs

The best introduction is your own knowledge.

A 30-minute working session: connect a source, watch the index build, and ask real questions against your own documents.

Self-hosted pilot on your infrastructure. Your data never touches ours.
